Growing dahlias from seed is a fun and rewarding way to discover completely unique blooms. Every seed-grown dahlia is different, with variations in colour, flower shape, size, and plant height.

Our seeds are open-pollinated naturally by bees, creating beautiful and unexpected combinations.

Please Note

Dahlias grown from seed will not grow true to the parent plant. 

Seeds listed under a named variety refer to the mother plant the seed was collected from. Seedlings may share some traits with the parent, but every plant will still be unique.

Many seedlings may produce single flowers, which is completely normal as all dahlias originally began as singles.

Growing dahlias from seed is part surprise, part treasure hunt, and that’s what makes it so special.
