Terms and Conditions

By placing an order on our website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

Availability

All orders are subject to stock availability. While we make every effort to maintain accurate inventory, there may be occasions where a particular dahlia tuber is no longer available after you place an order. Tubers are living products and, despite best care, may rot, fail to store well, or be lost due to natural causes outside our control. In such cases, we reserve the right to cancel that item and issue a refund. If this occurs, we will contact you and, where possible, offer an alternative tuber of your choice or a refund.

 Shipping & Delivery

We ship within Australia only. Unfortunately we are unable to ship to Tasmania, Western Australia, or the Northern Territory.

Tubers are generally sent from mid to late October through to mid November, when the warmer days help them wake up. Orders are packed and sent in the order they are received. As all tubers wake at different times, some cultivars may be sent without an active shoot but have been carefully inspected for a clear eye to ensure viability.

We offer a flat rate of $25 for shipping and handling. If you place multiple orders, we can combine shipping if you email us your order numbers after checkout.

Please do not contact us via social media for these requests. An email needs to be sent to: hello@reverieflowers.com.au.
Requests for combined shipping must be made before any of the orders have been dispatched. If we do not receive an email in time, each order will be sent separately, and postage will be charged for each order.

All tubers are hand-selected and packed by us with great care to meet our high-quality standards.

Please open your parcel and inspect your tubers as soon as possible upon arrival to ensure you are happy with them. Any concerns must be raised within 2 days of delivery by email at hello@reverieflowers.com.au, including clear, high-quality photos of the tubers. We cannot offer refunds or replacements for issues reported after this period.

Delivery is deemed complete when Australia Post marks the parcel as “Delivered” to your address or “Awaiting Collection” at your local Australia Post outlet. Parcels must be collected promptly; we are not responsible for uncollected parcels.

You are responsible for tracking your parcel using the information provided. We do not send individual delivery notifications.

We are not responsible for Australia Post, delivery times, or handling of packages once out of our hands. All orders will receive a tracking number once posted with Australia Post.

We are not responsible for parcels delivered to an incorrect address provided by the customer. Please ensure your address details are accurate at checkout.

 Seeds

Open-pollinated dahlia seeds are a natural product and every seed is genetically unique. While seeds are collected from known parent plants, we cannot guarantee flower colour, form, size, plant height, or any resemblance to the parent plant.

Our seeds are sold for their genetic potential rather than as a guarantee of any particular outcome.

Seed packets are counted carefully by hand before dispatch. We recommend sowing more than one seed to increase your chances of success, as germination rates naturally vary.

Germination and plant performance depend on many factors outside our control, including sowing methods, storage, temperature, moisture, soil conditions, weather, pests, and ongoing care. For this reason, we cannot guarantee germination rates or the performance of any seedlings.

Named seed packs contain open-pollinated seeds collected from the named variety and are not genetically identical to the parent plant unless specifically stated as hand-pollinated or controlled crosses.

Seeds are shipped separately from tubers where applicable. We offer a flat postage rate of $3 for seed orders, with a maximum of 5 seed packs per postage charge.

Seed Shipping

Dahlia seeds are sent via Australia Post as a standard letter and are not sent with tracking unless requested.

By placing an order for seeds, you acknowledge and accept that standard letter mail is sent at the purchaser’s risk. Reverie Flowers is not responsible for items that are delayed, lost, or damaged in transit when standard postage is selected.

If you would like your seed order sent with tracking, please contact us before placing your order. We are happy to arrange tracked postage, with any additional postage costs payable by the purchaser.

 Storage & After Delivery

After the 2-day inspection period, you are responsible for the care and storage of your tubers.

If not planting immediately, tubers should be kept in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area.

We are not liable for tubers that rot, dry out, shrivel, or deteriorate due to improper storage or handling. Avoid excessive moisture, poor ventilation, or overwatering, as these can damage tubers.

Mislabels & Virus

If you receive a mislabelled variety, we will do our best to provide a replacement (if available) or issue a refund.

We grow and supply plants following strict disinfection protocols, but dahlias can contract viruses at any point after planting, often via environmental factors or insect vectors beyond our control. We cannot guarantee virus-free plants and are not responsible for any virus or disease that may appear during the growing season.

Refunds & Returns

We do not accept returns for change of mind.

Refunds are only available in accordance with Australian Consumer Law (e.g., for faulty or damaged goods).

Due to the nature of live plant products, we cannot guarantee performance once planted, as this depends on factors outside our control such as soil, climate, and care.

If there is an issue with your order, please contact us at hello@reverieflowers.com.au within 48 hours of receiving your parcel, including photographs where applicable. We will review your claim and respond accordingly.

Liability

Reverie Flowers is not responsible for losses, damages, or delays once your order has been dispatched.

Plant health and performance are the responsibility of the customer once planted.

We are not liable for delays or inability to fulfil orders due to events outside our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, extreme weather, postal or courier delays, strikes, biosecurity restrictions, or government-imposed regulations.

Changes to These Terms

Reverie Flowers may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The most current version will always be available on our website.
